- Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
5. Security and Authentication Controls
The Account Service may enforce security controls, including:
- Password verification and credential validation.
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA) challenges.
- Session expiration, session revocation, and re-authentication.
- Device and risk checks.
- Anti-automation or abuse checks, including captcha challenges.
We may temporarily restrict access while investigating suspicious activity.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, sessions, tokens, or data.
- Reverse engineer or interfere with service integrity or availability.
- Bypass security mechanisms, including MFA and access controls.
- Use the service to distribute malware, conduct fraud, or perform unlawful activity.
- Use automated scripts for abusive account creation, login attempts, or denial-of-service behavior.
7. Prohibited Activities and Enforcement
If we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, we may:
- Suspend or terminate access.
- Revoke active sessions or credentials.
- Remove or limit functionality.
- Report unlawful behavior to relevant authorities.
Enforcement actions may occur without prior notice for urgent security or legal reasons.
8. Third-Party Services and Integrations
The Account Service may integrate with third-party infrastructure or services. Availability or behavior of third-party systems may affect account features.
We are not responsible for third-party service terms, downtime, or independent security incidents outside our control.
9. Service Availability and Changes
We may add, remove, or modify features at any time to improve security, performance, or compliance.
Service interruptions may occur due to:
- Planned maintenance.
- Emergency patches.
- Infrastructure or provider outages.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
10. Fees and Commercial Terms
If paid plans are introduced or applied to your use case:
- Pricing, billing cadence, and plan limits will be shown in applicable commercial terms.
- Failure to pay applicable fees may lead to service limitation or suspension.
Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable.
11. Intellectual Property
The Account Service, including software, interfaces, and branding, is owned by GoCools or its licensors and protected by applicable law.
These Terms grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
Use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
By using account.gocools, you acknowledge processing necessary for:
- Authentication and account lifecycle operations.
- Security monitoring, abuse prevention, and audit logging.
- Operational diagnostics and reliability improvements.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoCools and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Our aggregate liability for claims related to these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
- Amounts paid by you for the relevant service in the previous 12 months.
- USD 100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoCools, its affiliates, and personnel from claims, liabilities, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your misuse of the service.
- Violation of these Terms.
- Violation of law or third-party rights.
16. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access for security, legal, abuse, or material breach reasons. Upon termination, access rights end immediately, but legal obligations that should survive will continue.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the operating jurisdiction of the service, subject to mandatory consumer protection requirements.
Disputes should first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us. If unresolved, disputes may proceed in competent courts as allowed by law.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective on publication unless a later effective date is stated.
Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
